Big Foot Blues
What began as an exercise in abstraction, utilizing a palette knife and a limited palette including Cerulean Blue and Burnt Umber evolved into a dynamic celebration of Jazz horns and Blue’s guitars. The most celebrated and collected of all my large works, Big Foot Blues is a true evolution of art. From the original works on watercolor paper to the recent work on museum canvas, the transition in color, substance and depth is quite dramatic.
